Austin, Texas - SignalCore has released a miniature 6 GHz Synthesizer as part of our commitment to provide customers with high performance, small and low cost signal sources.
The SC800 nanoSynth®is a fully integrated broadband CW signal synthesizer designed with a proprietary architecture in a rugged and miniature 2”x1” surface mountable package. The output frequency range is 25 MHz to 6 GHz with average output power of +10 dBm. Tuning at 1 Hz resolution, the multiple PLL design eliminates close-in phase spurs associated with fractional-N PLLs. The SC800 has low phase noise of -118 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset from a 1 GHz carrier. Frequency list and sweep modes as well as single supply operation round out the SC800 robust feature set.
The default communication channel to the device is via SPI; an optional USB interface is also available, both allowing for quick and simple communication with the device.
Applications range from automatic test systems to wireless communication and network equipment to scientific research labs.
Shown is the SC800-EDK, a complete kit available for evaluating the SC800 nanoSynth.
